We are currently looking for a SharePoint Consultant to complement our Development team.

The team have a combined experience of over 50 years in the software development industry and with an excellent track record for delivering software on time and to budget.
 
As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner we develop custom software applications using the full range of Microsoft technologies including: all Windows operating systems, SQL Server, SharePoint, Project Server and the .NET Framework with C# and VB.

This role is to complement our Development team in consulting and deploying Microsoft SharePoint solutions. This is an exciting and challenging position in a fast moving environment. You will be educated to at least GCSE level C or above, English and Maths, and have a strong desire to develop your knowledge.  A sound understanding of Microsoft Office is also required as is good practical IT experience along with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with the Development team to design and implement SharePoint solutions
• Work with the Sales team on pre-sales technical support
• Liaison with the project management team and the customer to ensure projects work smoothly and run on time and budget
• Presentation of SharePoint solutions to clients at decision maker level
• Respond to Tenders at a technical level

Technical Profile:

Essential:

• At least 1 year of commercial SharePoint experience
• In depth knowledge of at least 3 of the following:
• SharePoint features and solution deployment
• Web Parts
• Content types
• SharePoint Infrastructure Planning
• Best Practices
• Workflow
• InfoPath Forms
• SharePoint Designer
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
• Keen to improve skills and knowledge

Desirable to have familiarity with:

• Microsoft Windows operating system installation and configuration
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005\2008
• HTML and CSS
• Javascript, AJAX, XSLT, CAML
