Due to continued growth, we have a position for an Outsource Supervisor. We require a polite and helpful IT engineer with a proven track record of supporting a variety of systems. The successful candidate will require strong project management skills, experience of dealing with company directors and senior staff – any previous management or supervisory experience would be an advantage. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines. Technically you will need to have experience of 1st and 2nd line support of a Microsoft Windows and Citrix Xenapp environment.
You need to be able to work within our experienced engineering team and have excellent telephone and customer care skills. The position is based on our customer’s sites, in Southampton and various branch offices in Hampshire, so a full driving license is essential. Certification and or experience of the technologies listed below are essential as you will be asked to demonstrate your knowledge during our interviewing process.
Technical Skills Required:
- Windows XP, Vista and 7 configuration and support experience (MCDST/MCTS or above preferred)
- Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008 configuration and support experience (MCITP/MCSE preferred)
- Citrix Xenapp Server installation, configuration and support experience (CCA or above preferred)
- Microsoft Exchange 2000, 2003, 2007 and 2010 configuration and support experience
- Active Directory configuration and administration
- Strong networking skills
- HP Proliant Server Hardware installation, configuration and support experience
