Former Rose Bowl managing director Glenn Delve has joined the team at leading Hampshire IT services company Taylor Made Computer Solutions.

In more than six years at the helm of the home of Hampshire Cricket, Glenn oversaw ambitious £45m expansion plans, which are now coming to fruition. He also drove the change from county ground to major international arena with Test status.

A relationship built up during its highly successful IT service contract with the landmark venue meant Taylor Made moved quickly to secure his services after he stepped down. The Cams Hall, Fareham, based firm has appointed Glenn as a consultant to help with the strategic development of the business.

Glenn said: “We’re putting together a strategic direction to drive us to where we want to be in 18 months. They have asked me to have a look at a number of different things, including contract structure and business processes.”

“The Rose Bowl was such a diverse role and I got so much experience there that Nigel thought I could bring it to bear at Taylor Made. We first met when I was new in post at the Rose Bowl and had significant IT infrastructure issues. Over the next six years that followed they never once let us down.”

“We want to be in the very top echelon of managed service providers in the UK and Taylor Made is already well positioned to achieve this. The goals are ambitious but realistic and I am tremendously excited to be helping achieve them.”

Taylor Made managing director Nigel Taylor said: “Glenn is a winner. He has a fantastic track record at the Rose Bowl, pushing through huge changes at every level of the organisation.”

“The fast pace of the IT industry means we are constantly having to adapt to stay ahead of the competition and Glenn’s experience is going to give us a significant advantage.”
