Taylor Made Computer Solutions has continued its support of local sport by renewing its sponsorship of Havant Rugby Football Club for the 2012/13 season.
The sponsorship is just the latest in a long line of deals that have seen the Fareham based IT firm support Hampshire sport.
The Havant RFC deal will take Taylor Made’s shirt sponsorship into its third consecutive year and cements a 13-year relationship dating back to when company founders Nigel and Alison Taylor’s sons played for the minis and juniors teams.
Since then Taylor Made’s involvement has grown from sponsorship of the minis and juniors’ rugby festival to developing a new website for the club and ultimately becoming the main sponsor. The club was also the venue for Taylor Made’s inaugural Sporting Dinner, which raised more than £4500 for The Rainbow Centre.
Havant chairman Jonathan Mangnall said: “This is fantastic news for our club. Our relationship with Taylor Made is way beyond the traditional one of club and sponsor. We have grown together and we are delighted that this exceptional partnership is continuing to develop.”
Taylor Made Managing Director Nigel Taylor added:”Our boys played here and we’ve been actively working with the club for more than 10 years, so it has a special place in our hearts. Havant is a great community club and does fantastic work with youngsters at every level. As a local company with deep roots in the area, we are proud to support this and help take the club to the next level.”
Taylor Made also works with the Ageas Bowl, home of Hampshire cricket and has sponsored promising young county cricketer Robert Gibson since 2007. The company also supports budding Hampshire cage fighter Mike Ling and has sponsored the Cams Hall Pro Am golf day next to its offices in Fareham since 2005.
