Taylor Made are delighted to announce that they have recently hired two new IT apprentices, Max and Sam. Both apprentices will be taking part in the Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme to help Taylor Made’s growing IT support team.
Taylor Made partner with IT apprenticeship specialist, Intequal (formally ITSkillsman) who have a wealth of experience in the Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme.
Max, Apprentice Service Transition Engineer from Taylor Made says, “I am delighted to be working at Taylor Made where I can get real-world on the job experience whilst developing a career in IT.”
Taylor Made believe strongly in apprenticeships. In the past year, five apprentices have completed their apprenticeships and been promoted into full-time roles within the business which we are extremely pleased about.
Apprenticeships are becoming an increasingly common way into work, with young people gaining qualifications while they earn.
Apprenticeship participation rose 3.2per cent in 2015/16 academic year, taking it to the highest level on record.
Nigel Taylor, Managing Director from Taylor Made, says “Young people seem to be much more clued up on various pathways open to them these days and that’s great news.
“We get a lot of calls from school-leavers and their parents asking if we have any apprenticeship vacancies.”
“They know that with an apprenticeship they have a much more hands-on learning experience compared to traditional A-Levels, plus the added bonus of earning while they’re learning.”
“Taylor Made are really happy to have two new apprentices to join the team and we are sure they will do a fantastic job”
