Taylor Made has three reasons to celebrate following a great evening at The Solent Deal Awards. Not only can we announce that Trethowans won Law Firm of the Year and Meridian Growth Capital won Private Equity Firm of the Year, but we were also lucky enough to walk away with our own award.

We are proud to announce that Taylor Made Computer Solutions has been awarded Small Deal of the Year (£10m) at The Solent Deals Awards 2019. Taylor Made has been recognised for the high-profile deal that combines Peach’s market-leading telecoms services with Taylor Made’s extensive IT services.

“A key factor behind the success of this deal was that everyone wanted it to happen. Our advisers Shoosmiths and Moore Blatch worked hard together. We held numerous round table meetings and recognised the need to be flexible. We are taking the best of two great companies locally and can now deliver a complete suite of IT and telephony solutions to our customers. Cost synergies were a key driver in the deal – we were able to cut costs from the business and also give money back to the previous shareholders.” – Darren Scott-Healey, CEO, Peach Technologies

Taylor Made has sponsored Law Firm of the Year and the Private Equity Firm of the Year for two years running now. Held every year at the Hilton Ageas Bowl, the Solent Deals Awards brings together corporate finance advisors, lawyers, bankers, private equity investors, accountants, and funding specialists – plus of course the management teams that have led the deals themselves.

“The Solent Deal Awards is always such a great night, and as always I enjoyed getting the usual banter from the presenter. With 270 guests attending you get to meet so many amazing people and enjoy the celebration of the year’s best achievements.” – Joe Jeffers, CFO, Taylor Made Computer Solutions
